About Writers In Residences
Writers in Residences (WIR) is an author series which began in September 2020 and is now in its 7th year. The current season runs from August 2026 to April 2027 and features six author programs.
During all programs the authors speak to participants in real time via Zoom, with time for Q&A from the viewers. Each thoughtfully chosen author is paired with a carefully chosen moderator who has read the book in advance to engage with the author in discussion about their book.
Writers In Residences is sponsored by the Family of Beth Pomerantz.
All of the authors appear in the series through the Jewish Book Council (JBC) Authors on Tour program.
WIR programs are free, however registration is required to attend. It is the goal of Writers In Residences that all participants listen and learn together.
